Thank You

It’s been a remarkably busy pre-Christmas week, but not for the usual reasons. My shopping, wrapping, and charitable donations are all done (about two weeks earlier than usual), which is just as well. My daughter’s been suffering from back pain, which reached an excruciating level on Monday, so I’ve been looking after baby Ellie this week while she recovers. Physiotherapy seems to be helping, but we’ll see how she does over the coming days.

This week, I simply want to say thank you to followers of this blog for sticking with me these past couple of years, and give a special welcome to those who have joined this fall. I’m especially grateful for those who’ve taken the time to comment or respond to my questions. I love the interaction I’ve received since joining WordPress and hope it will continue to grow.

Meanwhile, are you on a countdown to 2021 yet? Something tells me that many of us aren’t waiting for December 31st to get the countdown started.

  1. 2021 can’t start soon enough! Though it will be a while before I qualify for a vaccine, I’m hopeful that the process will go smoothly and COVID will be kicked to the curb soon. All the best to you and your growing family for the holidays and 2021. Cheers!

  2. Oh, Debra, I’m so sorry to hear about your daughter’s bad back. That’s really tough, and really hard when you’re trying to care for a young child. She’s lucky you’re there for her. I hope there are happy holidays in store for all of you.

  3. I take every day as it comes. Even now. I find my time on earth precious and hate for it to go by faster than it already does. Every new day brings new opportunities. So much to do. So much to see. So little time. 2021 will get there soon enough. 🙂 Happy holidays, Deb!

    1. Thank you, Darlene. I plan to be at your next signing, whenever that may be as well! My daughter’s doing better thanks, though still staying away from much lifting. Today my sister’s with her and baby Ellie.

  4. I’m sorry your daughter is going through a rough time, thank goodness you live nearby! Hopefully, when the calendar turns over to January we see the light at the end of the very dark tunnel that was 2020.
    Happy holidays ❤
